Sports
Sport is an important part of the social and physical development of all students. A strong sense of teamwork, cooperation, and reliability can be developed through sport and applied to many aspects of life. We support and encourage our athletes in both their team and individual sporting pursuits.
We are proud of our outstanding sporting facilities. These include four gyms, a climbing wall, a high ropes course, a fitness studio and a full-size hockey turf – facilities comparable to the best in the country.
Our kura offers 30 different sporting codes. Many of our teams and athletes are achieving at a national level, others enjoy participating with others and achieving their own goals.

Performing Arts

Leadership is an attribute that is highly valued and is reflected in Te Kura Tuarua o Taniwharau. We believe that our young leaders need to be nurtured, mentored and guided. At Fraser we have a wide range of opportunities for students to learn to lead and at the same time gain the invaluable social virtue of service to others.
